Director / Occupational Therapist

Anna Nicholls is an occupational therapist who established North Queensland Therapy Services in 2000.  She has over 20 years experience in the occupational rehabilitation field in a wide range of industries including mines, refineries, foundries, mills, research centres and universities, construction and office environments. 

Anna also has developed additional interests in pain management, injury prevention programs, clients with acquired brain injury, strokes, spinal injuries and complex trauma. She also completes home based community work performing home modifications for the aged care industry and has performed assessments for clients who are preparing for the NDIS.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (University of Qld)
• Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (QUT)
• Driving Assessor and Training (University of Qld)

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Sarah Need graduated as an Exercise Physiologist at James Cook University and since that time has been working for various gyms, lifestyle centres and is currently our resident Accredited Exercise Physiologist at North Queensland Therapy Services. Sarah has a keen interest for heavy industrial as well as community work.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science (JCU)
